Ari is a genuine, warm natured and caring professional with a thorough understanding of the housing market.

My husband and I first met Ari in 2016 after contacting his agency when considering selling our family home of 21 years, he had recently sold a neighbouring house and had obtained a street record.  At our first meeting we were struck by his convivial and respectful nature and his keen knowledge of the market and economy in general; my husband is an economist so his intelligence in this regard was very apparent to him. He gave us an appraisal of our home which we thought was fair, he also made suggestions of what we could do to improve our home to enhance its saleability. He did not pressure us to sign with him or indeed to even sell our home.  Over the next few years we remained in contact and indeed he was happy to come to our home and speak with us regarding market updates and general chit chats. We also spoke with other agents but would always go back to Ari as he just came across as having more integrity. It was in late 2022 that we finally made the decision to sell. Once again we contacted Ari for an honest appraisal which we received promptly. We also contacted another agent who gave us an appraisal that was substantially higher. This agent had a recent track record of selling large homes in the area so we felt that his appraisal may hold true. As it turned out, it was not even close. We signed up with the other agent. Our experience very disappointing. In short we ended up selling our home for substantially less than his appraisal minimum. Frankly, we made a mistake not contracting with Ari. His appraisal of our home was accurate and his comments and suggestions of improvements were completely correct. If you are thinking of selling your home my husband and I highly recommend Ari and his team. He is honest, knowledgeable, well connected, passionate and energetic.

Last year we sold our family home in Gordon after 32 years. Whilst it was an excellent property on a large 1-acre plot, despite several campaigns with 2 different agents and despite showing the property to numerous other "leading" agents we could not get traction in the market and could not get a single genuine offer despite more than 100 inspections. That was until Ari Akbarian knocked on our door. Ari exhibited the tenacity and professionalism that we expected from a leading agent and he immediately introduced a buyer who subsequently purchased at a record Gordon price. The thing with Ari was that he took "ownership" of the house and sold it as if it was his own. This is a rarity in the industry as while agents do all the usual advertising and promotion they rarely seem to become as passionate as the owners themselves. Ari is different an the results speak for themselves. By taking ownership and having that passion I believe he was able to get the great features of the property across which resulted in a sale.
